The Elements in jOrgan are the building blocks for a Disposition. Most Elements will be placed on a Console, but there might be some that are not visible to the organist.

Skins

All Elements in jOrgan can be styled visually. This enables you to create Consoles with your preferred look. All groups of Styles are bundled as Skins and can be downloaded from our Sourceforge file releases. Extract the downloaded ZIP files into the same folder as the jOrgan installation.

Sounds

jOrgan does not generate Sounds itself, it delegates this part of an organ to sound devices. To be able to communicate these have to be controllable by way of wp>Midi messages. See the following sections for possible types of sound devices that can be used with jOrgan.

User Interface

jOrgan can be started with a graphical user interface or with a command line interface. GUI By default jOrgan starts with a wp>graphical user interface. It has two modes, Construct and Play. You can toggle between these two mode with a button on the toolbar:
